Short answer: all three of MPAT's 7 October 2026 launches start free, but the free credits stop in different places. graph by datavruti gives 100 credits once setup is finished, Listing Ventures AI gives a 45-day trial of up to 3 listings, and Rool refills 240 AI credits a day for free. The first paid steps are a $4.99 pack, a $2.99 pack and a €5 voucher or €9 a month.
This MPAT guide explains what one credit buys in each product, where the free start runs out and when paying once beats paying monthly. Every price was read on the vendors' own pricing pages and on today's three MPAT listings on 7 October 2026. It is compiled from those pages, not a hands-on test, and there are no scores or ratings.
What launched on MPAT on 7 October 2026?
Three products went live on the board on the same UTC day. They do unrelated jobs:
graph by datavruti (morning) is resume and interview prep for data, AI and analytics professionals. It turns your resume and short work notes into tailored Word resumes and interview prep sheets.
Listing Ventures AI (afternoon) turns photos of a secondhand item into a listing draft with price guidance from comparable sold and active listings. It publishes to eBay, prepares copy-and-paste posts for Facebook Marketplace and exports CSV files for Whatnot.
Rool (evening) is a private AI workspace hosted in the EU. Each "Rool Machine" is a cloud Linux machine in Finland that holds your files, notes, chats and memories, with the AI agent running inside it.
A job-hunting data engineer, an eBay reseller and a private-AI user would each buy one of these, not all three. What they share is the meter: all three charge for AI in credits, and a credit means something different in each. In graph it is a share of a generated document, in Listing Ventures AI it is one finished listing, and in Rool it is a slice of compute that refills every hour.
What does each cost, and where do the free credits stop?
Checked 7 October 2026 on the graph pricing page (USD, or INR in India), the Listing Ventures AI pricing page (USD) and the Rool pricing page (EUR on the web).
Free graph, work notes and daily standups, plus 100 credits once setup is finished; no card | When the 100 credits are spent on resumes (25 each) or prep sheets (10 each); building tools stay free | Starter pack $4.99 (₹500) once for 500 credits | A fraction of a generated document | Pack credits never expire; Unlimited ($19.99) lasts 3 months | |
Listing Ventures AI | Up to 3 listings and 9 PhotoRoom cleanup credits; no card | When those credits are used, or after 45 days | Quick Listings $2.99 once for 5 listings | One finished listing draft (a photo credit is one background removal) | Paid credits never expire |
Rool | Standard plan, free forever: 240 AI credits a day, 2 machines, 1 GB each; no card | When the balance runs dry; AI pauses until it refills at 10 credits an hour, up to 1,000 | Plus €9 a month, or a €5 voucher for 3,000 credits | Compute: about 10 per typical reasoning prompt | Plans renew monthly; no voucher expiry is stated |
The table hides the most useful difference. graph and Listing Ventures AI sell credits once, with no subscription, and paid credits stay on your account. Rool is the only one with a permanent free plan that keeps refilling, but its paid upgrade is a monthly subscription.
Is graph by datavruti free, and how far do 100 credits go?
Most of graph is free. The graph pricing page lists as always free: building your graph from a resume, capturing work "moments", adding context and evidence, daily standup summaries, and a private graph with an optional public profile. Credits pay for heavier outputs: 25 for a resume generated from your graph, 25 for tailoring a resume to a job description and 10 for an interview prep sheet. A failed generation gives its credits back.
The 100 free credits arrive when you finish setting up, and referrals earn more for both sides, though the amount is not published. By MPAT's arithmetic, 100 credits cover four resumes, ten prep sheets, or two tailored resumes plus five prep sheets. One tailored resume and one prep sheet per job is 35 credits, so the free credits cover two applications with some left over.
After that there are two one-time options, and neither renews. The Starter pack is $4.99 (₹500 in India) for 500 credits that never expire, or about 14 applications at 35 credits. Unlimited is $19.99 (₹1,699) for three months. Four Starter packs cost $19.96 for 2,000 credits, so Unlimited only pays off above roughly 57 applications in those three months.
India-based users pay in rupees and everyone else in dollars, through Razorpay. The graph terms of service say taxes are shown before purchase and fees are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise. graph is built only for data, AI and analytics roles.
Is Listing Ventures AI free, and what does one listing credit buy?
It offers a free trial, not a free plan. A new account gets 1 listing and 3 PhotoRoom cleanup credits, then 2 more listings and 6 more cleanups after email verification: up to 3 listings and 9 cleanups in all. No card is needed, trial credits expire after 45 days, and nothing is billed unless you buy a pack.
A listing credit buys one finished draft: title, description and price research. A photo credit removes the background from one photo; it does not limit how many photos you attach. Packs are one-time Stripe payments and paid credits never expire. Listings-only packs cost $2.99 for 5, $7.99 for 25 and $22.99 for 100. Packs with cleanup cost $4.99 (5 listings, 15 cleanups), $14.99 (25 and 75) and $44.99 (100 and 300).
The vendor puts listings-only packs at about $0.23 to $0.60 per listing. For a reseller listing 40 items a month, MPAT's arithmetic puts a 100-listing pack at about two and a half months of stock. First-time buyers get 10% off their first pack automatically. Tax is not mentioned on the pricing page.
The Listing Ventures AI terms refund the unused part of a pack if you email support within 30 days of buying, and failed generations are refunded either way. Two limits: the free one-photo price research tool is "limited per day" with no number given, and the app does not list to Etsy. Etsy sellers who mainly need help answering buyers can compare Customer Service AI for Etsy, which MPAT lists with 30 free messages and a $2.99-a-month Starter plan (checked 6 October 2026).
Is Rool free, and how many prompts do 240 daily credits cover?
Yes. Rool's Standard plan is "free forever", with no card and no trial clock: two Rool Machines with 1 GB each, Object Memory and AI models included. The balance refills 10 credits an hour, 240 a day, and holds at most 1,000. The Rool FAQ says a typical reasoning prompt averages about 10 credits and a simple question can cost 1, and puts 240 daily credits at about 20 to 25 typical reasoning prompts.
Running out deletes nothing. You can still read, edit and browse, but AI pauses until credits refill, you redeem a voucher or you upgrade. Plus is €9 a month for 1,200 credits a day (cap 2,000), 2 GB per machine, a custom subdomain and Connectors/MCP. Pro is €25 a month for 4,800 a day (cap 5,000), five machines with 10 GB each and priority support.
The €5 voucher adds 3,000 credits on any plan, including the free one, and can be given away until redeemed. That is roughly 300 reasoning prompts by MPAT's arithmetic. The same €9 as Plus would buy 5,400 voucher credits once, while Plus refills up to 1,200 a day, so a daily heavy user is better off subscribing.
Two caveats. The web prices are in euros, while the Rool App Store listing shows in-app purchases of Plus at $12.99 and Pro at $29.99 without stating the period, and neither says whether VAT is included. The Rool terms add that subscriptions auto-renew and fees are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise. Credits are also not a shared currency: Raycast, which MPAT lists with no AI on its free plan and Pro at $10 a month for 500 AI credits (checked 24 September 2026), counts them its own way.
Which credit model fits how you work?
One-time packs that never expire (graph, Listing Ventures AI) suit uneven work. Job searches and estate-sale hauls come in bursts, and you pay nothing in quiet months. graph Unlimited only makes sense above about 57 applications in three months.
A daily refill (Rool) suits steady everyday use. The free plan is enough to try it properly; if you hit the limit most days, Plus beats buying vouchers.
