AnimeArc Review: Pricing, Credits and Refund Policy

Turns one story idea into an AI anime drama

AnimeArc is a web tool for building short anime dramas from a one-line story idea. It writes a script, designs characters and cover art, turns scenes into storyboard frames and then generates connected video scenes. It is aimed at TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Reels creators, and at manga and webtoon makers who want to test a story visually. There are three paid plans: Standard at $9.9 a month, Pro at $29.9 and Ultra at $79.9, all paid with credits.

Quick verdict

The credit maths is easy to follow, because the pricing page converts credits into images and videos, and the cheapest plan buys 14 standard videos. The catch is what the site does not say. It names no company, its Terms say nothing we could read about who owns or may use generated output commercially, and the pricing page shows no free plan.

What is AnimeArc used for?

The AnimeArc homepage frames the product as a workflow rather than a single generator: idea, script, characters, storyboards, scene videos. It sets this against "random clips" and says each scene is built to belong to the same story.

Script, characters and cover art

Step two of the homepage workflow generates a structured script, character designs said to stay recognisable across scenes, and a cover image. The site lets you pick a genre such as romance, fantasy, school drama, sci-fi, horror or comedy, and says the script structure and dialogue tone adapt. Cast design comes before storyboards, which is the site's answer to characters changing from scene to scene.

Storyboards

Each script scene becomes a comics-style storyboard frame showing shot composition, character expressions and visual direction.

Video scenes and voice

Storyboards then become anime video scenes. The pricing page lists multiple video models (Kling and Hailuo), resolution of 720p or 1080p depending on the model, voice generation and audio-video sync on every plan. The homepage says to build episode by episode for a series.

Short-drama workflow

The short-drama page targets TikTok, Shorts and Reels creators and shows three samples: one flagship, "Storm Drone Strike", with 6 storyboard frames and 3 connected video scenes, and two lighter concepts. It calls them part of a "first validation round", which tells you the product is early.

Who AnimeArc is for, and who should skip it

The homepage names storytellers who do not want to draw every frame, short-drama creators and AI creators moving beyond single images. A faceless anime channel is a natural fit.

  • Skip it if you need a free plan to try first. The pricing page lists only paid tiers, and the homepage FAQ answer on cost was not readable.
  • Skip it if you need written commercial-use terms. The Terms we read cover the site's own content and say nothing about rights in what you generate.
  • Skip it for adult or violent content. The Acceptable Use Policy bans NSFW, graphic violence and gore, hate speech, deepfakes and IP infringement.
  • Skip it if you want a refund safety net. See the refund section below.

How much does AnimeArc cost?

Prices are in US dollars per month, read on the AnimeArc pricing page on 13 October 2026. The page shows no annual option.

PlanPriceCredits a monthRough outputCost per 100 creditsExtras
Standard$9.9700About 140 images or 14 standard videosAs low as $1.41Image generation (nano-banana-2), Kling and Hailuo video, voice, audio-video sync
Pro$29.92,300About 460 images or 46 standard videosAs low as $1.30Fast-track lane, higher concurrent jobs, priority access to new models
Ultra$79.96,300About 1,260 images or 126 standard videosAs low as $1.27Fastest lane, highest concurrency, early invites to new releases, priority support

The conversion implies 5 credits per image and 50 per standard video (our arithmetic from the page). Pro is marked Recommended and buys 3.3 times Standard's credits for three times the price, so the saving is modest: about $0.11 per 100 credits. Ultra's rate is only 14 cents under Standard's, so the bigger plans buy speed and headroom more than savings. If you mostly make short clips, Standard is the sensible start.

Refunds, cancellation and payments

The AnimeArc Refund Policy (last updated 19 March 2026) says that once a purchase is made and the service accessed, refunds are generally not offered. At its sole discretion it may refund a severe technical fault that support cannot fix, or accidental duplicate billing, and you must ask within 7 days. You can cancel in account settings; billing stops and access runs to the end of the paid cycle, with no pro-rated refunds. The Terms of Service (last updated 20 August 2026) say payments go through Creem, which acts as merchant of record and issues the invoice, or PayPal when available.

Is AnimeArc free?

The pricing page lists no free plan and no free credits. The homepage has an FAQ entry titled "Is AnimeArc free to use?" but its answer was collapsed in what we read, so we cannot say what it offers. Check the live page before you pay.

How AnimeArc handles your prompts and content

The AnimeArc Privacy Policy (last updated 20 August 2026) is short.

  • What it collects. Email, username, prompts, uploaded reference material, IP address, browser type and cookie-based usage data.
  • Moderation. Each image or video prompt, with an opaque request identifier, is sent to CREEM's Moderation API before it reaches the AI-generation provider. Your email and payment details are not intentionally included.
  • Sharing. It says it does not sell, trade or rent personal data, and shares with hosting, AI-generation, payment, analytics and safety providers as needed.
  • Training. The policy does not say whether prompts or uploads are used to train models, so there is no promise either way.
  • Your rights. You can access, update or request deletion of your data through account settings or support.

The Acceptable Use Policy adds that prompts are screened and that trying to bypass the filters, including through encoded instructions, is a violation that can end your account.

Where AnimeArc's own pages disagree

  • Image model. The pricing page lists image generation with nano-banana-2, while the homepage generator preview shows a style picker labelled GPT Image 2. Neither page says which model you will actually get.
  • Policy dates. The Terms and Privacy Policy were updated on 20 August 2026, but the Refund Policy is dated 19 March 2026 and the Acceptable Use Policy 22 March 2026, so check that the refund wording still applies.
  • Rights in output. The Terms grant a licence to view the site's content for personal, non-commercial use only and bar commercial use of "our content". They do not separate that from content you generate, which matters if you plan to monetise a channel.
  • Early product. The homepage calls the workflow ready in minutes, while the short-drama page describes a "first validation round" of samples.

How AnimeArc compares with other tools reviewed here

We have not reviewed another anime-specific generator, so these comparisons are with general creative tools.

AnimeArc vs Krea AI. Krea's Pro plan is $35 a month ($21 billed yearly) for 20,000 units, which it equates to 257 generations or 83 videos, and it includes a commercial licence, per our Krea review (checked 24 September 2026). AnimeArc is cheaper at the entry level but publishes no licence terms.

AnimeArc vs Ideogram. Ideogram's Plus plan is $15 a month billed annually with private generations and commercial use, per our Ideogram review (checked 24 September 2026). It makes images, not connected video scenes.
