How These Reviews Are Written
Each review covers one AI tool: what it does, who it suits, what its plans cost, where its free tier stops, and which alternatives are worth comparing it with. A review carries the name of the person who wrote it and the date its facts and prices were last checked.
Pricing is recorded per tool as one of three things: free, free plan plus paid, or paid. Plan names, prices and free-tier limits are read from the vendor's own pricing and help pages. Pricing pages change without notice, which is why the check date is printed on the page: an undated price is a guess.
A review cannot be bought. A tool maker can submit a tool, and an editor decides whether to review it; payment never changes what a review says. Paid placements are labelled as sponsored wherever they appear.
Questions About These Reviews
What a review covers, how pricing is recorded, and what a tool maker can and cannot buy.
What Does an AI Tool Review on This Site Cover?
A review covers what the tool does, who it suits, its plans and prices, the limits of its free tier, its strengths and weaknesses, and the alternatives worth comparing it with. Every review names its author and shows the date its facts and prices were last checked.
Are the Prices in These Reviews Accurate?
Plan names, prices and free-tier limits are read from the vendor's own pricing and help pages, not from a press release or a third-party roundup. Pricing pages change without notice, so every review shows the date it was last checked. Treat that date as part of the price.
Which of These AI Tools Are Free?
Pricing is recorded as one of three things: free, free plan plus paid, or paid, and each card on this page shows the one recorded for that tool. Most tools reviewed here are free plan plus paid, which means there is something usable without paying and a limit you will eventually meet. The review says where that limit is.
Can a Company Pay for a Review or a Higher Position?
No. A review cannot be bought, and payment never changes what a review says or the order of a list. When a placement is paid for it is labelled as sponsored wherever it appears, in words rather than as a colour or an icon.
How Does a Tool Get Reviewed Here?
In one of two ways. The editors pick a tool and review it, or its maker submits it and an editor decides whether to review it. Submitting is free and does not guarantee a published review.
