Listing Ventures AI is a web app that turns photos of second-hand items into finished listing drafts for eBay, Facebook Marketplace and Whatnot, with price guidance from comparable sold and active listings. It is built for resellers. A free trial covers up to three listings, and paid credit packs start at $2.99, paid once.
MPAT read the Listing Ventures AI homepage, the Listing Ventures AI pricing page, the help and support pages, the terms of service, the privacy policy and the vendor's own comparison pages on 7 October 2026. This page is compiled from those pages, not a hands-on review: MPAT did not create an account, upload photos or publish a listing. The product was featured on BetaList on 7 October 2026, and it also launched on the MPAT launch board, where this listing lives at /tools/listing-ventures-ai.
Listing Ventures AI in one paragraph
Listing Ventures AI is a listing assistant for people who resell thrift, estate-sale and storage-unit finds. You add photos of an item, tap Generate, and get a draft with a title, description, item details and a suggested price based on comparable sold and active listings. From there you publish the draft to eBay through a connected account, copy it field by field into Facebook Marketplace, or export it as a Whatnot CSV. Nothing goes live until you confirm it, and the app never logs in to Facebook. As of 7 October 2026, the free trial gives up to 3 listings and 9 PhotoRoom background-removal credits, with no card, valid for 45 days. Paid packs are one-time purchases from $2.99 for 5 listings to $44.99 for 100 listings with 300 cleanup credits, and paid credits never expire. It suits sellers who mainly list on eBay and Facebook, not sellers who cross-list to many marketplaces.
What Listing Ventures AI does
Features below come from the homepage, the Listing Ventures AI help page and the help articles, read on 7 October 2026.
- Photo-to-draft listings. You start from photos already in your camera roll; an item guess, condition and notes are optional. The app writes the title, description and item details in about a minute, the help page says.
- Price research you can inspect. Each item gets a price check against comparable listings, labelled SOLD (a buyer paid that price) or ACTIVE (only listed). The draft suggests an asking price and a lowest offer to accept. An "Estimated value" badge means enough sold prices were found; an "AI estimate" badge means none were and the price needs checking.
- Needs attention checks. A red Fix line marks anything eBay would reject; an orange Check line marks a guess the app made.
- Bulk drafts. Up to 10 items at a time, reviewed on one screen, with a saved shipping note, return policy and footer reused on every listing.
- eBay publishing. You connect eBay once on eBay's own sign-in page, then publish one item or a batch of up to 10 after confirming.
- Facebook Marketplace copy page. Title, price, category, description and keywords each get a Copy button, with photos in order. You paste them into Facebook and tap Publish yourself; bulk posting to Facebook is not offered.
- Whatnot tools. The Whatnot CSV export guide covers exporting drafts for Seller Hub. The Whatnot show sync guide describes importing live eBay listings, ending the ones in a show after a confirm, uploading Whatnot's order CSV and relisting leftovers.
- PhotoRoom cleanup. Each photo credit removes the background from one photo. Originals are kept, and your own photo stays the cover by default.
- Free photo research. A separate free photo research tool identifies an item from one photo and shows comparable listings, with no draft or export.
Who it is for, and who should skip it
A good fit if you sell used goods on eBay and Facebook Marketplace and the slow part is writing titles, checking sold prices and filling item specifics. The pay-once credits suit part-time sellers whose volume rises and falls with each haul, and the Whatnot show sync suits sellers who run live shows from the same eBay inventory.
Skip it if you want a tool that posts to Facebook for you, or you cross-list to Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Etsy or Vinted. The vendor's own comparison with Vendoo says cross-listers are better served by Vendoo. Skip it too if you sell new retail stock with barcodes and want camera scanning, which the app does not offer yet.
Plans and prices
| Plan | Price | What you get | Where the tier stops |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free trial | $0, no card | 1 listing and 3 PhotoRoom cleanup credits at sign-up, then 2 listings and 6 cleanup credits after email verification | Ends when the 3 listings are used or after 45 days; never billed unless you buy a pack |
| Quick Listings | $2.99 once | 5 listing credits, no cleanup credits (about $0.60 a listing) | Credits never expire |
| Seller Listings | $7.99 once | 25 listing credits, no cleanup credits (about $0.32 a listing) | Credits never expire |
| Bulk Listings | $22.99 once | 100 listing credits, no cleanup credits (about $0.23 a listing) | Credits never expire |
| Quick Pack | $4.99 once | 5 listing credits plus 15 PhotoRoom cleanup credits | Credits never expire |
| Seller Pack | $14.99 once | 25 listing credits plus 75 PhotoRoom cleanup credits | Credits never expire |
| Bulk Pack | $44.99 once | 100 listing credits plus 300 PhotoRoom cleanup credits (about $0.45 a listing) | Credits never expire |
One listing credit is one finished draft: title, description and price research. One photo credit removes the background from one photo, so the bundled packs cover about three cutouts per listing. The pricing page offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on unused credits, and failed generations are refunded. The page does not mention tax, and the terms of service say features and prices can change.
What credits buy, and where the free trial stops
The free trial is small: three listings in total, and only one until you verify your email. Free credits expire after 45 days. The terms say free photo research is limited per day without giving the number, and the pricing page warns that trial credits may arrive late on busy days.
After the trial, the choice is between listings-only packs and packs with cleanup. A seller who already shoots on a plain background pays about 23 cents a listing on the $22.99 pack; one who wants three background removals per item pays about 45 cents on the $44.99 pack. At 40 items a month, either 100-listing pack lasts about two and a half months. That arithmetic is MPAT's, from the published prices. Marketplace selling fees are separate.
The homepage cites the founder's own test of 59 eBay listings on 3 and 4 October 2026 at about 1.5 minutes each, labelled as one seller's numbers rather than independent results.
Privacy, data and terms
The Listing Ventures AI privacy policy says item photos, details and drafts are processed and stored so the app can work and so eBay can fetch the photos you publish. eBay access tokens are encrypted, kept on the vendor's servers and deleted when you disconnect. Customers never connect Facebook or Instagram accounts. The site uses HeyCatch product analytics, which links page views and clicks to your user ID and email while you are signed in.
The terms say photos are sent to "our AI and image-editing providers"; PhotoRoom is the only one named. Users must be 18 or older and should hold one account each, and liability is capped at what you paid in the previous 12 months. Per the support page, a deletion request by email removes the account, drafts, photos and eBay tokens, with a 30-day target. MPAT found no company name, address or governing law on the terms or privacy pages; the named person behind the product is founder Scott Medlin.
How it compares to tools already on MPAT
MPAT does not yet list another reseller listing tool; these are the closest tools on the site.
- Customer Service AI for Etsy, the extension that drafts Etsy buyer replies, gives 30 free messages and paid plans from $2.99 a month for 100 messages, per its MPAT listing checked 6 October 2026. It works after an Etsy sale; Listing Ventures AI works before an eBay or Facebook sale.
- AIVeed, the pay-per-use AI video and image studio, gives 200 free credits and sells one-time packs from $5 for 600 credits, per its MPAT listing checked 1 October 2026. Both skip subscriptions, but AIVeed makes marketing clips, not listings.
- Krea AI, the multi-model image workspace, has a Free plan with 100 units a day and Pro at $35 a month or $21 billed yearly, per its MPAT listing checked 24 September 2026. Krea generates new images; Listing Ventures AI only removes backgrounds from your real photos.

Is Listing Ventures AI free?
Only to try. The free trial gives up to 3 listings and 9 PhotoRoom cleanup credits, with no card, for 45 days. The free photo research tool stays available with a daily limit. After that you buy a one-time pack. Prices checked on 7 October 2026.
How much does Listing Ventures AI cost?
Listings-only packs cost $2.99 for 5, $7.99 for 25 and $22.99 for 100. Packs with PhotoRoom cleanup cost $4.99, $14.99 and $44.99 for 5, 25 and 100 listings. All are paid once and the credits never expire.
What is Listing Ventures AI used for?
Turning photos of used items into priced eBay, Facebook Marketplace and Whatnot listings, and managing eBay inventory around Whatnot live shows. The about page names thrift resellers, antique dealers and storage-unit buyers as its audience.
Does Listing Ventures AI post to Facebook Marketplace for me?
No. It prepares the text and photo order, and you paste each field into Facebook and tap Publish yourself. eBay is the only marketplace it publishes to directly, and only after you confirm.
Is the suggested price guaranteed?
No. The terms say prices and descriptions are suggestions based on your photos and public marketplace data, and they can be wrong. The vendor does not guarantee an item will sell at any price.
